Our venue for the CineClub is The Grove Building in Mere (The Grove Building, Church Street, Mere BA12 6DS). Unless otherwise stated, doors open at 7pm and film starts at 7:30pm.
I’ve lost my membership card. How do I get a replacement?
Email membership@cineclubmere.org.uk and a new one will be issued – free!
Do I need to print off proof of online ticket purchase?
No! Front of House will have a list of who has bought tickets. Just give your name at the door.
The film says sold out.
All tickets are removed the day before the film and SOLD OUT will show. Contact membership@cineclubmere.org.uk to see if there are still tickets available. If we actually sell out then that will be announced to you all.
How do I pay for refreshments?
You can pay by card or with cash.
Is there a minimum purchase for Pay-by-card?
No
Where can I buy tickets?
70 tickets are available to members only via the website cineclubmere.org.uk or 10 are available at Mere Library during its opening hours (except Monday mornings and Wednesdays). Library purchases are cash only.
I’ve not been sent confirmation of my ticket purchases?
Wait a while as it may take a bit of time to come through. If you don’t receive one then email membership@cineclubmere.org.uk with details of when you made the purchase.
When do the films start?
Films will start at 7:30pm. Doors open at 7pm. Occasionally longer films may start earlier but this will be made clear on tickets and online.
I want to bring a friend who isn’t a member.
Tickets can only be bought by members for members until the day before the film. Any remaining tickets are available on the door for members £5 and non-members £8.
